You can catch JM the Poet and Treble NLS featuring music by DJ Femi at the next Soul Stage by Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. This free event takes place Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 8:00-10:00 pm at the Greer Cabaret Theatre, 655 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
JM the Poet is a Pittsburgh-based artist, rapper, poet, and songwriter. He is a performing and teaching artist with 1Hood Media and a label mate on the Driving While Black collective. His latest release, Insomniac Pack, is available on all streaming platforms.
Emmy Award artist Treble NLS is a Pittsburgh native known for his work with 1Hood Media, where he serves as a lead teaching artist and arts coordinator. He will showcase upcoming DJN808 from Newark, New Jersey. She draws her inspiration from the multiculturalism that is present in Pittsburgh and Newark with the hopes of bringing those cultures together through music.
DJ Femi is also based in Pittsburgh and started her DJ career fifteen years ago while attending CAPA, a Pittsburgh performing arts school. She has become one of the most popular DJs in the city because she stands for women in the entertainment industry and women worldwide.
