1Hood Power Hour | Building Movements in the Time of COVID-19

1Hood Power Hour | Building Movements in the Time of COVID-19 Communities of color are simultaneously fighting a global pandemic and white supremacy. As a result, they are coming up with innovative ways to dismantle oppressive systems. This week’s forum features three activist, Dakota Castro-Jarrett of Stop the Station, Nino Brown of Party for Socialism and Liberation, and María del Rosario Palacios of GA Familias Unidas, who are making a big impact in their local areas during COVID-19. We will discuss how they are getting things done during the pandemic as well as what they are working on now. The views and opinions expressed during this presentation are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 1Hood Media, 1Hood Power, and or its affiliates.
